    If there is no documentation or the dealer seems a little "unsure" if it has.

    Any visual differences to allow identification of a new head?

    No, There is no way of telling if the head has been replaced apart from documentation , receipts etc

      There is one way of telling but you will need to take off the manifolds & use a micrometer as the internal waterways are further away from the heads surface. BUGGA of a job This is the only physical way of telling as there are no external marks or numbers.
