  • Rubber hose from water pump

Does anyone know what the diameter the top hose that comes out of the water pump is, as mine seems to have old coolant built up like crushed glass in it. And is this hose just the same as fuel pipe hose ?

Try www.milneroffroad for the hose as the hose has gone brittle inside & is starting to break down.

I know Milners sell them, but they still charge about £8 to send the stuff and I`m never in, so have to collect from the depot which is another 30 mile away, so its easier for me to buy from a fuel pipe from Halfords for £6 and cut it to size. Thats why I`m looking for the diameter of the pipe, so I get the right one

Replaced the hose yesterday using re-enforced fuel pipe, cost £6 for 1 metre and its 9.5mm pipe you require.

So if anyone else requires it, now you know

Why did you use fuel hose when heater hose is probably cheaper and the correct type?

Couldn`t find any in the shop at the time and had my 2yr old son with me. He decided that this particular day was one for causing as much destruction as possible, so I got what I could while the shop was still in one piece

I was more worried about him staring at all the neons in the place, don`t want him growing up to be some chav with more lights than Blackpool shining from under the arches
