HI CAN ANYONE THROW SOME LIGHT ON A RUMBLE NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE.
    I HAVE A 2.4 AUTO 93-K REG
THE NOISE IS VERY LOAD WHEN I FIRST START FROM COLD,
STARTS AT AT ABOUT 1.5-2K REVS BUT YOU CAN STILL JUST HEAR IT OVER THAT AND WHEN IT'S HOTTED UP...
EVEN AFTER DRIVEING FOR AN HOUR AND ONLY PARKING FOR 10MINS WHEN YOU MOVE OFF IT'S THERE AGAIN AT 1.5 REVS AND ABOVE.
ALSO STARTED TO SMOKE ON START AND SMELLS ABIT OF DIESEL AROUND THE FRONT END.
IT'S NOT OVERHEATING PLEASE HELP AS IT'S DOING MY HEAD IN
    THANKS

Check all belts and pulleys, could be bearings in one of the items run by a belt, air con pump , power steering pump, tensioner pulley etc
Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.

    My 4x4
    My choice
    Back off
