Yes give it a good blast up the road to get it upto TEMP & get rid of any soot in the exhaust.

Thats not bad but the gaiters are a bit of a pain to do
It could have been worse.

I remember seeing Gaiters years ago that you fitted over the driveshafts and sealed them with ZIPS !!!!! I have not seen them since so presume that they never caught on and were no good !!!
