HEADS GONE..........
think mine has gone, pressurised top hose, losing water, expansion tank full
milky looking coolant.
no steam out of zorst, tho ?? temp gauge on normal ?? gauge did shoot up once, 2 weeks ago, turned heaters on full, dropped back to normal, been normal since ??
changed thermostat/rad cap, flushed system, and bled b4 xmas
diagnosis anyone????

Get it pressure tested 1st

yes get it presure tested 1st but i bet its cracked for all the will in the world i had the expansion tank geezer and i too read everything i could and did everything i could i replaced the water pump, thermostat, presure cap, flushed it not onece but 3 times in the end no oil contamination or coolant no steam bath out the back either ran it for about 5 weeks with no trouble eventually i also had it blocktested that was ok and the presure test was not loosing anything to write home about then it was time for the sauna out the exhaust pipe oh it was cracked you could see it and the gasket was about to give up the ghost too so if you have the expansion bottle overflow and you have replaced the stat and cap and you get it again from time to time you will more than likley be needing a new head oh and asbetos gloves to handle the credit card bill. these trucks dont always give the tell tale signs that the gasket /head is gone be warned!!
