Help!! Rear window problem

Have recently purchased a 92 2.4 ssr-g surf. V happy with it, just one snag the rear window has stopped going up and down. I can hear the motor working but that's it. Can anybody help me, as I'm having to climb over the back seat to put things in the boot, major pain!!! Any advice appreciated.

Sounds like the small plastic gear has worn away or fell off.
Climb into the boot remove cover from tailgate & have a look, Be careful when removing the Carpet cover as you may break the Lugs.
