  • Changing wheel size a problem?

    Hi all,

My hilux surf is not a wide body one but it came with bigger tyres, I am not sure of the size but I can check that later, I have seen others like mine but with thinner tyres. Is it a problem if you just change the tyres without doing other changes?

Putting bigger tyres on is no problems as long as they do not
catch any bodywork/steering/suspention on the truck.
They should not protrude from the bodywork as Mr plod and the
      MOT man will be upset.
Also dont forget that bigger tyres will give you a faulse
reading on your speedo so get it checked on a rolling road to
varify the differance apart from that ENJOY IT !

Just seen where you live forget the MOT but check out local laws.

        What's plod and MOT?
The tyres by the way are big wide tyres and do come out of the bodywork but do not interfere with any parts.
