New Surfer !!!!

Been reading your forum for a while as I was looking for a 4WD for a while as I show dogs.
I was looking at the mitsi range (Pajero) for a while but were all dogs
Drove past local garage and just by chance seen this huge 4WD and thought must have !!! found out it was a surf and paid £3995 for it. It is metallic blue 5 new tyres and all the gizmos including a huge spec clarion CD Player !! Its done 176,000kms and has had a comprehensive service schedule of stickers with various mileages under bonnet and door entrances!! So do you think I got a good deal

I think its had a new turbo because its shiney and the engine sounds So sweet considering the mileage.

sounds like a nice motor get some piccys up for us all to look at...
as for the value- if you think its worth that.. thats all that matters.
but to compare i bought mine nearly a year ago for just under £5k.......

1992 2.4TD can be got cheaper and more expensive, I have seen them still in Dealers around here on a J plate for 6 grand.

Basically if you think you got a good deal then you got a good deal.

Yeah for £3995 I think I got a good deal considering what your getting and also in comparison to other imports and the uk market.....come to think about it I did get a good deal

Hi there! Nice to have another Hampshire surfer aboard!!

As for laning we are blessed with lots and lots!! If you want an organised trip the first time then look out for the Salisbury Plains runs - there wil be a post on the off road section soon for the next one. Its a good gentle start with plenty of opportunity to get really dirty if you want to.
