I think you'll find 120,000 is a mere drop in the ocean, I've 198,000kms, and I know of several other's on here who at last check had far higher mileage than me.

Can't say how long they can live for, but with a little bit of care, a ripe old age should be no problem!

                          Hi all,

My '93 kzn130 3.0 litre's timing light came on at 130000km, indicating a 70000km windback (probably before it left Japan) - It's currently displaying 164300km, so total is about 234300km.
My last Hilux, an '85 Xtra cab ute with the 3Y 2 litre engine, had 384000km on it when traded in on the Surf.
I remember reading somewhere online about some Toyotas over here (Australia) and the mileages they clock up, I cant remember if they were out on stations or if they were mining companies vehicles, but if I remember correctly some of them had done 4 to 500 thousand k's

                          Regards,

                          Michael

Modern Engines are designed to last much longer, as they are more finely engineered.

Most diesels should live to 300,000 Miles if cared for
Lifes for smileing at! when ya Surf's not broke!
