where di you take your surf on first days of ownership

as the title says, where did your surf go off road during your first few days of ownership.

Not long after buying mine last autumn I took it up to Scotland. Looks like it could be in the back and beyond but not far from road really. Camped near the foot of Beine Eighe.

There's lots of things about the place that keeps me going back and the roads are one of them. Surf country for sure!

That trip I survived.

About a year after on a plains trip I burnt out an owners clutch as he pulled me out a rut. While I towed him back I cooked my truck's head. Oh and I was partly responsible for breaking another owners girlfriend's finger.

It was that weekend captain chaos was made

i got mine stuck in a muddy puddle, and soon learnt to put tow straps on before attempting this stuff.

I've only had my Surf for about a month but the same evening that I bought it I got lost on the country roads of Sussex. When I noticed that a few of the roads were less than roads, just mud I thought this is what I want!

I took it to Argos in Ilkeston because I am living the dream.

I didn't see a metal post in the carpark as I wasn't used to the altitude the Surf cruises at.

Corner of bumper and wheelarch needed a bit of a polish anyway...
