If so, I would have thought it unlikely for (at least) two reasons.

        1. A car is an inanimate object, which is most unlikely to have an evil spirit double.
okay how do you explain Kits double in knight rider then?! Kat wasn't it? Evil ####### car that was.

KIT was definitely gay - just listen to that accent. I suppose it was something to do with the Hoff entering him day after day.

Dont recall KAT at all, presumably it was short for KATrina, or KATherine? Either way, if she didn't like KIT (probably thought he was a bit limp) she's alright by me!

Are you perchance referring to K.A.R.R., K.I.T.T.'s nemesis? If so, the apparent human characteristics of the control systems in both vehicles were merely a consequence of the programming utilised by the manufacturers (Knight Industries) and his designer Wilton Knight. Of course the episodes that followed "Trust Doesn't Rust" do follow a revenge based theme which is arguably incompatible with mere programming. But I suspect that poetic licence is responsible, rather than a more philosophical examination of the nature of computer controlled machinery.

Oh why oh why oh why have I just spent 10 minutes of my life looking at Wikipedia entiresd about a ludicrous fictional TV series?!

              Damn you Wolf damn you!

PS The above does also rather beg the question "who the hell programmes a car to sound massively gay?"

Little known unscreened episodes involve other protaginists which included:

C.A.R.R. - a vehicle even camper than K.I.T.T. with a voice like a Dorset pensioner, a radiator grille like a line of broken buildings and a hideously stretched and distended exhaust

Generally, they share a moustache- each morning they pass it through the serving hatch from next door along with that days novelty princes wand.
