I saw someone on the back of a motorbike going through Sulby and the passenger on the back gave a big wave and was wondering if it was anyone on here.
Also couple of days ago travelling on the Ramsey to Douglas Coast Road a blue Surf (2nd gen I think) english plates gave a good flash and wave. I only saw you last minute but did wave. Was thinking it may have been Bibs and co.
Any takers?? It's nice to have some Surfers actually waving for a change. Not many forum members over here. Although there are quite a few Surfs.

How do I know it was English??

Habit! Think the reg started with M and maybe had an X in it too. Male driving and possibly a female passenger in the Surf. Most manx Registration plates have a red tab on the side of them. Could have been an Irish reg but I'm pretty sure it was english. I originally typed Foreign. but somthin in me says it was Brit. :p

Ah, Brit. = British? That's a whole lot different from English?

                        Giggle's Reg is M4NX B. But it wasn't her

Actually you can spot a uk (english as you put it) plate a mile off over there - most have a different font to ours an like PC surf said they have a red tab.

British / English - they're all foreign to me Only difference it makes to me is that they are usually better drivers than a lot of the manx plates

A lot of the new plates in the UK are area specific aren't they? It may have been one from around Cheshire / Merseyside etc etc isn't Manc and Liverpool MU at the beggining or similar?
We don't have the same over here. Nor are ours relative to the year (so saying a vehicle is an "M" reg would mean nothin over here if you get my meaning).

                            I like Giggle's reg
                            I have a nice low one. 17-XMN
