Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone with an early LN130 Surf or access to the original Japanese wiring diagrams can help me identify a connector and work out what has happened to the wiring in my Surf.The vehicle is a 1990 Toyota Hilux Surf, Japanese import:
Model: Q-LN130G-GJMGX
Engine: 2L-T 2.4 turbo diesel
Transmission: R150F manual
Body: 2-door
I have a black connector marked B5 under the driver's side of the dash. It connects the dash/interior wiring into the main wiring loom that runs across/behind the dash. I'm trying to return everything to the original factory configuration rather than guessing what the previous owner was trying to achieve.
I originally thought B5 connected to an Integration Relay and purchased Toyota 82641-89103, which parts catalogues appeared to associate with the LN130. However, the Integration Relay I received has a completely different connector arrangement and clearly does not mate with my B5 connector. I'll include photos of both for comparison.
I've now found references to the original Japanese Toyota Hilux Surf 配線図集 (Wiring Diagram Collection), May 1989, which specifically covers the Q-LN130G series, but I haven't been able to obtain a usable copy yet.
Does anyone have the May 1989 Japanese LN130G wiring diagram book, or an early 1989/1990 2-door Q-LN130G that they could compare this B5 connector with? I'm specifically trying to find:
What Toyota identifies connector B5 as and what it originally connects to.
The factory B5 connector pinout and wire colours.
Whether my B5 connector and wiring appear factory or have been altered/replaced.
What the previous owner's wire bridges/bypass might have been intended to bypass.
Whether Toyota Integration Relay 82641-89103 actually belongs in this specific Q-LN130G configuration, and if so, where it connects.
Any photos of the wiring under the driver's dash on an early 2-door LN130G, or scans/photos from the May 1989 配線図集, would be hugely helpful.
