Hi Guys, my old 2.8-litre 1997 LN106 Hilux with the 3L engine and 270,000 Ks is in good shape - runs well for its age etc. The time it takes the oil-pressure light to go out can vary. Sometimes almost immediately, sometimes it seems to take a second or two. I use a semi-synthetic 20W40 plus genuine Toyota filters and change them often. I'm sure this is a common thing, so someone will know. is it a feature or a bug? Cheers, Mike
