I recently purchased a 1992 2.4Lte Surf previous owner didn't do anything to it besides replace AC compressor. so I'm basically starting fresh. I do not intend to overland with it or do an serious overlanding with in the next 4 years. It is my daily driver, I have a 2 mile commute to work so the only stress it will endure will be driving onto the expressway(60-80kmph).
I would like to upgrade the cooling system since I have read all the hooplah about the head cracking issues. Unfortunately there is nowhere to custom fabricate anything in my location. So I'm going with a GPI aluminum radiator to start.
Is this the right place to start. or should i go with something different. Does anybody have prior experience with this company. or anything else I can upgrade?
