I'm in northern Argentina with a Paraguayan-bought 1995 Surf, very nice conditional mechanically but we're talking about a 30 year old car on these brick roads so I'm slowly rebuilding suspension. I have put 10k KM on this truck since January
Sadly my mechanic left my passenger LBJ loose and it shit the bed today, as with any LBJ fail glad it didn't kill me. LBJs show their age and I want to replace them, but apart from the many trips I take now I'm planning on potetnaily driving this thing up the pan american highway. So I want solid suspension components that can accommodate my lift. So thinking UCAs as well.
Anyone ever heard of this brand "Option 4WD"? Terrible name as you can never find it by Googling it or searching for it anywhere, you end up getting gearbox instructions.
For the LBJs it is very hard or impossible to find OEM. Mixed reviews on the 555 OBJs, American purists swear against them but I can get them here in Paraguay (closeby).
Pics of the rig for attention.
