G’day from Sunshine Coast QLD Australia. Introducing my KZN185 SSR-X which has been a project & adventure machine for the past 12 years. It’s taken us to Cape York, across the Simpson Desert & numerous camping/4WD weekends. I’ve dug a few holes to tip money into including:
- full engine rebuild (spun a balance shaft bearing)
- full auto trans rebuild (don’t ask…)
- rear disc conversion & LSD
- full suspension overhaul with 2” suspension lift (Dobinson & Bilstein)
- custom rear bar with twin spares
- 110L Long Ranger auxiliary fuel tank
- added factory intercooler/EGR blank
- upgraded to HO turbo & MAP sensor
- 3” exhaust including dump
- extra gauges
- Black Duck canvas seat covers
- Drifta kitchen, fridge slide & cargo barrier

- dual battery system
- Rhino Sunseeker II awning
- winch
- safari snorkel
- “wood” console & door trims

still on the wishlist:
- add front roof bar (ideas??)
- custom rock sliders/steps
- ARB air lockers

Hi fella, I see you listed Black Duck seat covers. I contacted them recently and they told me they don't do them for my 4runner and that the hilux covers are different.
what ones do u have on?
I have BD covers on my Mk7 Hilux and love them, I don't wat crappy baggy covers.
