Hi all, legendary forum have learnt heaps here.

In the process of blocking EGR valve etc, gonna need to search the info for butterfly valves later. But have gotten stuck on the blinking intake manifold, have gotten all the nuts off the main manifold but then where it is bolted to EGR valve intake bit managed to round one of the nuts. Still not even getting it off with a chisel. Have WD-40d the heck out of it still no good.

Gonna talk to some mates of mine, but any tips appreciated, and also tips on how to remove the whole piece itself off the engine. I've removed the fuel lines and stuff to be able to undo the nuts properly. Blocking plates going in etc. But all as a first timer.Hi all, legendary forum have learnt heaps here.

And any advice on cleaning manifold etc should be all good to put back together once it's all done. Have searched about this topic before but mostly about after getting it all done stuck on the process here.

    Cheers

It's been a couple of years since I done mine but if I remember correctly if you undo the two big nuts on the pipe that connects the exhaust minfold to the egr you should be able to get the intake manifold off with the egr still bolted on it .As for cleaning jet wash and leave to soak in oven cleaner then scrub ,as for the egr I just made blanking plates and connected it all back up
