First post, first Surf problem! Took her out for a spin the other day and the O/D light started flashing slowly. Then I noticed when starting from standstill that it started fine in 1st, then jumped straight to 3rd and wouldn't go into O/D. While in third (D) and going up a hill, it wouldn't shift down to 2nd and stayed in 3rd. I can shift down manually fine, all the way up and down through the gears. I unplugged the fuses and that reset the O/D flashing but it still jumped from 1st to 3rd. Fluid smells a bit burnt and has a bit of red left. Any help appreciated. ECU? Solenoids? Clogged filter?
