Just joined and I have a 1996 kzn185 currently working towards modifying it. Running into some issues living in the US with finding information and parts. It is an automatic transmission and I cannot find any upgraded aluminum radiators for it. For some reason everything for sale is for the manual transmission. So far that’s my biggest issue. Love the surf though it runs great.

Manual transmission radiators got more flow. I would just buy an separate trans. Oil cooler. Done that on few of mine.

As per budweiser, run a seperate A/T cooler.

You can usually get 3 core radiators from Rough Trax 4x4

Roughtrax will not ship radiators to the US. I begged them to ship one but they refused. I have a 2nd gen. I ended up taking mine to a local radiator shop and got a tiny weep hole soldered for 30$. The guy could not believe it was a 26 year old radiator. Looks new and never overheats even driving 70/75 for several hours. If there is a problem with overheating, bigger radiator will likely not fix it.

Those Aluminium radiators just spoil the look of the engine bay IMO. I just could not live with it. BTW, for kzn130, you can not find a MT radiator on eBay. Looks like it's the opposite for kzn185.
