usual mot failure bushes on lower front wishbone.
got new one with cam bolts all ready
had to cut old cam bolts as they were seized, no real problem.
however on refitting new wishbone and cambolts i have come up with an issue:
can not get new cambolts past the drive shaft (drivers side)
front one no problem but as the rear one has to feed through from back to front, the cam lobe will simply not pass the cv joint.
question;
i assume that the bolt has to go through this way because the other end would be very close to fouling cv boot? so stick to the instructions.
bearing in mind i am on my back under axle stands and the big down bolt on the steering rack sucks to loosen, any ideas short of undoing the rack to give me play to get the bolt in
thank you, any advice appreciated
