Hi there. I'm the owner of an ln131 hilux surf that has developed a bit of a pinion bearing whine in the rear. Instead of a rebuild I've been looking at switching the diff centre to one of those magical Prado (j78) factory e-lockers.
I recognise that I'll have to make some modifications to my diff housing to get the locking diff centre to fit but I'm concerned about my current sway bar interfering with the locker motor and was wondering if the sway bar from an n185 surf would solve this problem. Also, will I have issues with my axle shafts since the diff centre I'm hoping to replace is an open one
Im mostly hoping someone will be able to enlighten me on differences in axle width or how differently a 185 series surf sway bar mounts.
