Fuel Cap Replacement

Will tether the next fuel cap but I admit to losing the cap on my 1992 (I think) import to Canada SURF LN130 2.4 diesel. The problem now is to find a replacement as no one at the shops here seems to know if a 'gas cap' from the more readily found 6cylindet Forerunner would fit and work?

In case you don't want to order the original one, the fuel caps for Toyotas of that age are fairly interchangeable.

So if you find an old corolla, Rav 4 or similar from the nineties, the chances are that the fuel cap from those will fit your Surf.

The cap on my 3rd Gen was stolen and I got a Corolla one that fitted from a scrapyard.

Surf'nBC, sadly I am in the same boat, left the cap for my 89 ln130 surf at the station a few days ago...doh! I am in BC as well, did you find a replacement cap that works?
