Can anyone help me where to go to have my front diff. inspected & hopefully repaired.
It is removed from the vehicle, a 1998 KZN185 with manual transmission including ADD.
Loud rumbling, droning, whining noise as we journeyed on holiday along A55 and appears to be the pinion bearings and seals where the front driveshaft entered the diff ( not the half-shafts).
There are bearing repair kits on the market but I cannot find any info. on how to carry out this job, nor the specific tools required.
I'm hoping someone may direct me to returning my Surf to the road and track before the winter weather appears.
