Anyone else used South African Gabriel shocks?

Hi,
I found a user on here who's also from Blantyre, in Malawi, where I am and I've just bought a Surf. I'm interested to talk to him about the quality of the Gabriel shocks which can be bought here. They're made in SA, rather than the US and I want to know if they're as good quality. Hoping when this post is approved I can approach the other user directly.

Never heard of them. Always used Pedders or stuff from Rought Trax, which I can recommend as I run it myself
