Hilux surf 1992 auto. Really want it but hubbie having fit as parts are expensive and impossible to get. Done lots of research and can't see major issue. Is he correct?

on a serious note - all 4x4 parts generally are more expensive than car parts - for a reason. but parts are not hard to obtain

Hi im new on hear and looking for an injection pump for my 1kzt engine. I bought a surf ssrx limited as parts for my 4runner after having it writen off, ended up puting my engine gear box and wireing loom in to the surf like you do, then the pump stoped working. Iv taken it for repair but was told its beyond, any suggestions would be appreciated. The code is 096000 8850. Did buy a 2.4 pump but the plunger isn't the right diamiter so i cant use that and iv got a 1kzte pump but the 1 i need is manual

you wont find a manual pump for love nor money. they are quite hard. they do come up but hard to find.

what are you doing with yout 1kzte pump?

Yeah unfortunately manual pumps are very hard to find. Think you may be able to get them from Toyota but they're like £500

Rough trax don't have them. Tried before :)
