One of the perks of working in a local council is that you're privvy to some really interesting letters courtesy of the great British public. One in the hall of fame was from a lady demanding we reimburse her for a parking fine she got for parking on double yellow lines. Her reason that because we had put double yellow lines on the road there was no where else to park so she had no choice to park on them! Pure genius
