If you try it down south (ie. here in England) they ask for proper money, always used to have to spend all Scottish money before leaving Scotland. Haven't been given any Scotish money for at least four years now!

Strangely Scottish notes arent even legal currency in Scotland.
Only the bank of England issue legal tender in Britain.
