Originally posted by DannoA standard size relay is more than adequate to handle 2x100w lamps but as slugboy said make sure your cable size is enough. I have 4 spots on my truck all with 100w lamps and 2 relays. I have used 20A cable throughout.CHEERS JOHN................

One of the easiest ways to to check your cable size against what they sell in the local Halfrauds. Rough measurement will do.
I have two on my nudge bars and two on my roof rails. I had the same vibration problem and used a length of perforated metal strip screwed to the top of the spotlamp and to the slam panel, under the bonnet.
I suggest using the plastic coated version and only on cheap spots, if they are chrome I would do it. Demon Tweeks to Lamp Steady bars that are used on MK2 Escort Rally cars fitted with Cibie Oscars. Check their website.I NEED TO OFFROAD!

whats the general view on brands for spotlights... seen a lot of stuff about Cibie, any good? What are good stuff to look out for? I have BOSCH halogens (apparently) on at the mo but they are yellow and could look better and brighter.
Any suggestions?
ThanksTim
