    The other day in Bolton I passed a 3rd gen Smurf, no big deal I hear you say, but it was on a "L" plate. Can anyone explain this?

        Not too hard to fathom m8, private plate! Mine is on a 'B' reg plate but its a 98.

            L Plate

            Strange l have just noticed all of mine are not on there proper plates ie;
            1/ 96 3rd Gen SSR-X on "ANZ 3067"
            2/ 92 2nd Gen SSR-G on "DNZ 4987"
            3/ 92 Landcruiser VX Limited on "924 DOC"
            4/ 94 Celica SS2 on "119 VTX"
            The other 6 unregistered yet

              You can go backwards on year vs Registration plates but you cant go forward e.g 93 surf on a P plate
