  • Wish I'd done this sooner!

Had a poke around under the bonnet this morning and found the reason the turbo light wasn't working, the pipe going to the small sensor bolted to the airbox was off and just sucking in air. Right, so turbo light now working I thought I'd have a quick look at the EGR thingummy, pulled of the top pipe and blocked it as per Koi's pictures in an earlier thread and what a difference! Not really sure which of the things improved matters so much but thanks to Marky for the diagram of the vacuum hoses and to Koi for pictures of the EGR so I knew what to look for........... cheers guys
One question, any downsides to disconnecting the EGR?

You may kill a few trees in 1000 years time!

And it will increase combustion temps under load a little, and make it run better.
