I just put a dab of vasaline in all the runners, it helped a bit but still stick now and then, weak motor I think. I need to spend more time on it myself. Will let you know if I cure it.

              misty probs

Only owned a 2.4 92 model for five days but I've noticed the Surf mists its screen easily.

The quickest way to clear the screen is to set the airflow controls to a mix of face/leg/screen vents, then set the heating temp to just on the cool side of hot/cold on the heater lever - needs to be on the mid setting for airflow power, and the air con must be on.

Result is a clear windscreen within seconds...

the alternative is to open the window,or blast the air con on cold - generally it seems to mist up almost instantly if two people are breathing heavily in the cab - ooh er missus...wish I was that lucky every time I'm surfin'

surfin' baby - it's the source

whoo just fixed my demister. lying around in the footwell and played with the sliders... they only moved about 1/2" and were jammed... kept playing and then got fed up - stuck a screwdriver on one and pushed... SNAP! I though I no Ive broken it but pushed it all the way round and wehey! a tonne of dust blew out the window vents!
Only thing is now the motor goes and the sliders dont move but at least I might have demisted widows now :phew:
