About time I got around to saying hi. Got my surf about 2 weeks ago and have been reading a lot on here but not posting much.

I have bought a new deck for my surf and have printed out all the info on getting the dash off. (Should be fun)

Current Mods:
rebuilt engine
4in suspension lift
33x12in rims and 33inx12.5in tires

Next in the mod lists are:
Bigger Radiator (Already got cooling issues)
Adjustable boost controller
Intercooler (I am going to try and get one off a newer surf if I can)

the temp guage pegs at traffic lights but is fine when moving even at low speed. The fan comes on like a demon tho.

Would try the usual things 1st
Flush the system and the radiator,just for pease of mind fit
new rad cap and thermostat and see what that does to the
over heating?

thanks, I went to highschool in florida and all of the rednecks at my school had the same sort of lift on their toyota trucks.

good news I have sorted the over heating problem. new thermostat and removal of air locks. I also changed the oil as the old stuff looked rather like old stuff.
