A quick engine oil question...

OK I searched the forum but can't find any info on this so here goes...

I was looking for engine oil and being one for following the book wanted a 10w30 or 10w40 anyway I was told that the oil I'm using in the car is good for the Surf too.

It is Vauxhall semi-synthetic 10w40 the ratings are:
API SJ,SH/CF,EC ACEA A3-98 B3-98

From the ratings it seems it will do as CF and B3-98 refer to diesels.

Just wanted to check before I pour it in.
