I should have a dig around at the back of my mums shed. I made a monkey bike out of the rear end of a vespa scooter and some steel tube. It was so short I had to put the foot rests on the front forks. It was only 18" high. There was no flywheel cover and you shredded your leg on that silly cooling fan thing. There was no exhaust cover and you burnt the other leg. If you tried first gear it would just wheelie

Oh, I forgot, when you wheelied and pulled back on the apehangers they would fold back. Never did get them beggers to grip!!!!!! I cant understand why my Mum took the spark plug out and put a ballbearing down the cylinder. It wasn't dangerous. I was 14 and indestructable.
