Either get the Haynes Australian 4Runner one or the Max Ellery EP-TH4D one. I use the Max Ellery one and it's fine except it doesn't have the electronic bits for the 2LTE engine (only covers the 2LT engine) but you can get away with it as most of the stuff is the same.

has anyone seen the 'chilton' manual for the surf ?- i had one for an import prelude (covers accord as well) - a car spares place in rochdale said they can get one for £30 ish - sposedley covers turbo? BTW chiltons have been bought out by haynes so any haynes stockist should be able to order one if any good?!?!

I agree with Lucky - we use a combination of the Max Ellery and Hayne - what one misses the other tends to have. Got both these from Amazon.

Tony's also got workshop manuals for most of the trucks - from e-bay generally for not that much money.

ok stupid reply but where the hell do I get this Max Ellery book from? it was so much easier in the old days when kids just went out and bought their dads a packet of fags or a pair of socks!
