Any electritians on here tell me why my freezer keep throwing my trip switch
defrosted it and let it dry out over night, as soon as its pluggeg in BANG!
looks like i,m gonna have to load up my surf and do a trip to the local tip followed by a trip to Comet.

Hehe - I had an oven like that once... worked fine for about and hour the tripped the whole house! Every time 61 minutes after starting!! 2 electricians came round and "fixed" the apparent dodgy wiring, but in the end I gave up and bought a new one which has worked perfectly for 2 years now.

Pump shorting out

Could be knackered or it could be the starting current on the compressor.

Which trip is going out, MCB or RCD?
If MCB what is the rating?

Only way to really know is to have a sparky test it to see if the compressor has gone tits. It will probably be cheaper to buy a new one though!
