Thinking about it the 2nd Gen is better than the 3rd Gen for this job, fit rollers on the tailgate as well as the cargo area and you can easily slide the box in - and no door to bang your head on !
Well you can see it now - "go over the ground you will be going under"
Just back the Surf hearse up to the grave , select 4wd , select drive or 2nd gear if manual , boot it away and coffin self loads into grave . Job done !

As cheap as chips
service with a shove and a smile.
are there rules for driving when there's a funeral procession?... i overtook one in slough a few weeks back and they were going so slow and taking up all the space i really had to squeeze past... the hearse kept jumping red lights too... the road went back to single lane so i pulled in behind the hearse an the rest of the procession was behind me waving their fists at me and all sorts, the miserable buggaz!... especially when i stopped at the red light but the hearse didn't... he just kept on going and none of the others could see it cos my trailler's 16ft high.... eventually he pulled over in a bus stop and let me past!
