You may want to consider the positioning of spot lights before you decide
I have an oblong plate and it will have to be changed if i want spots on the middle rail of my (Marky Bar).

if you have no front ornaments, I'd get a long one. square sometimes look better with bars or spots.

long one looks best, it agrees with the other horizontal lines on the front end.

Square one is better when lights are on bullbar.

You guys are so lucky with the option of personal reg no's. I had a Honda VTR1000F Firestorm (90 degree V-Twin 996cc motorbike), and I saw a reg for sale in MCN - V90oVTR. There was a pic of the reg and the second zero of the "900" was lower case and raised, to seem like the "degree" symbol. Cool or what? Shame it'd have been useless in ROI, cos I really could have afforded the £1100 price tag. Not.
