Hey guys,
Loving my new hilux so far and getting about 30mpg out of it which i cant quite believe!
Got it booked in for a full service on Saturday and timing belt change as its just hit 200,000 km.
Anyway, just above tick over, as I touch the accelerator, no more than a cm, i get a whine just in that spot, as the revs increase it disappears. With my limited knowledge it sounds to me maybe like a belt slipping. Anyone have any ideas?
