Surf written off

My surf was written off last week and the insurance company took it away. It was not worth buying back it was ******.

How much do you think the first offer will be?

Try to find one or better several the same spec colour, mileage and year as the dear departed. When you get your offer you will be pre armed with the this it what I will have to spend on a like for like replacement card. It worked for me on one of my Colorados when they offered me f all for it, I ended up with more than I payed for it and I had owned it for four years. Most insurers will offer as little as they think they can get away with and argue the toss about anything and everything to avoid paying out!

Can you not buy it back from the insurers?
The head and tyres alone would be worth it!
They'll probably still pay out a good bit of cash then you can flog the good bits, probably make an extra grand if you can be arsed.
