I se that Antarctic ship they just launched is now named the Sir David Attenborough, after they held a competition amounst kids/schoolchildren to name it, (the winner was "Boaty McBoatface" but they overruled it in favour of Sir David, guess it's a more dignified name for a ship but the kid must be hacked off

they had a competition for a name for the ferry and "Boaty McBoatface" won and they actually kept the name

If I remember correctly Sir David Attenborough actually came 54th, David Attenborough was higher.
It was covered in an episode of "there's no such thing as the news".
