Tyre Rotation

A mate told me I should be rotating the tyres on my surf. Rear tyres with front tyres. Something to do with tyre fatigue and safety.
Has anyone been doing this? I've never heard of it before.

Front to back maybe, to even out wear, but not change sides. I never do either. One reason is I have a dud tyre on the back, which is fine there, but can't use it on the front.

I basically do the same as Nev, just bought two new BFG's and put them on the back and the older mudders on the front, when the mudders run low on tread i'll do the same again, saves having to buy four new ones all at once,

Looks like a good way to even the wear across your tyres and prolong their life. Definitely a good tip to know. Wish I had have known about it years ago. Could have saved a packet.

Best way to even the wear is go backwards one day and forwards the next (feckers are too dam heavy to ponce about with)
