    i am off to cyprus for a month, "sorry" do you think i should disconect the batterys.
    and which leads should be took off

    has any one left there surf this long, when i come back to the uk i disconect the battery on my mitsubishi L 2oo, spit spit sick sick i know.
    any way its not as good as my surf just twice as economical

    Not a bad idea, you need to take the negatives off.

    If life's an uphill struggle then downhill from now on can't be that bad?!

      I would. The clock, fuel guage and some of the other toys are perrmanently drawing current (about 400mA last time I looked).

      These solar panels, that you put in your windscreen, are good for keeping the batteries topped up if you are parking it outside. I was sceptical at first but they do work.
      It's only a hobby!

        nowt worse than cummin back to a non starter , didnt realise that there was that much draw on the battery
