Yesterday my surf broke for first time in 5yrs I think it's the gear box or transfer box not sure as yet but was hoping you lot could help with the diagnosis.
I pulled up put it in reverse and it was jolting backwards so put it in drive and it done the same at slow speeds. Then put it over the pit at work and I can here a metallic grind as you move back and forth. Tried to lock in the 4 wheel high and it was very stiff to move. Oils are fine and fresh so I'm thinking gear box or transfer box is nacked any ideas? Also where could I get one?
