Looking for names of a good Toyota surf mechanic that could have a look at my 3rd gen 4x4 system , I know there is tony but was looking for someone a bit closer to Scotland many thanks

Unfortunately I think Tony and the one that shall not be named are the only 2 that run a business working on surfs and there both a long way from you, one thing worth mentioning is that land cruisers from the 90s will share similar systems regarding 4wd so maybe look for a land cruiser specialist near you

Thanks for your reply , I would really like to leave it with tony and get him to give it a good service , he would probably sort my 4x4 in no time , it saves other mechanics second or third guessing what's wrong , if I could only get someone to deliver it then I could fly down and drive it home , I could drive it down (8 hrs ) but would then have to stay a few nights until sorted

Don't know exactly where ya are in Scotlandshire Colin, there are a few Good spannermen in ya neck o' the woods that used to frequent the Forum some could be on Faceache nowadays ..... Yoshie n brother Alan around Glasgow/Stirling area also Gra moved up to Inverness n a few more that used to be on SMC (Scottishmudclub Forum)
