Hi,

New to the forum - recently brought a 200k (KM) 2nd Gen Surf, it's already been taken to Strata Florida for a good play over the weekend with my German shepherd on board! Going to inevitably do what I do to anything engined... Abuse it and change lots of stuff on it! Got it running it's first tank of 50/50 SVO Veg oil / Diesel mix with a fuel filter in the boot incase it clears some build ups. Forum looks great though seems a bit quiet - guess that's common nowadays with faceache owning most of all things internet!

Yes its quiet and yes you are right about facebook, Welcome anyway, even though its quiet folks still pop up with responses and the search function will locate lots of good stuff ( after youve sorted through the crap of course )

I work in Hungerford so pass the Wiltshire area often. I've known a guy Matt (Goodman) for a lot of years - he's quite into the 4x4 scene.. Think he runs Bristol 4x4 group on faceache, wouldn't be surprised if he's known to a few in here!

I'm currently pondering squandering money on a chipset for the hilux.. Just trying out my first 20l veg (SVO) in the tank with 40l Diesel... Actually seems to improve performance and smoke less!
