3rd gen alloys

Looking for a nice set of alloy wheels to fit a 3rd gen surf if anyone has any , thanks

Being 16" not as much choice as 15". I put a later mk4 Surf alloys on mine. The 3rd gen alloys tend to look bad as the road salt gets to them and ruins the finish. Alot of people get them blasted and powder coated, look a lot better.

Yup, anything with a diamond cut finish always ages terribly...

There are loads to choose from on Ebay! Land cruiser once fit, modern Hilux ones, Mine are aftermarket wheels that came off a Pajero.

The hardest part is getting a decent matching set of 5!

Yes, mine were awful when I got the truck and I wasn't about to have them re-cut or anything like that plus the rough cast is a b to clean so I took all 5 to Pristine Wheels at Milton Keynes and what a fantastic job they did! I had them sprayed and they look fab and they are now smooth so cleaning is a breeze! It definitely is the way to go for stunning looking wheels in my opinion as the weather can (and probably has) got under the lacquer and into the aluminium. You'll never get that out once that happens.
