I'm a 2nd Gen 3.0l Auto man every time meself ...
Sadly the younger one of me Surfs is off to a new owner (staying in the family) tho ....
8 n 1/2 year old is staying ....
15+ Years of Surfs .. n Faultless to a "T" is my Yota !! So I got another ..

3rd Gen auto, assuming multi mode 4x4.
Better engines, centre diff, less likely to have cooling issues etc etcMore Lift.
More Tyres.

I'm six months into a Gen 3 SSRG after having a Gen 2 SSRG for 10 years or so.The Gen 3 is much more comfortable ,more leg room,better driving position,better fuel economy ,smaller turning circle, no knock on full lock ,better 4 wheel drive etc.
The only thing I miss from the Gen 2 is the sunroof with air bladeComment
