            You can pick a good 2 post lift up for £300-£400

                It's a Nissan navara with a Baja racing body kit if anyone was still wondering

                Cheapest I could see those scissor lifts was around £1100 that's for a 4t rated one

                    Just looks very unstable to me. Also something very wrong with that pic. How do they get the vehicle back down on the ground? The top tracks look like they would run out of length for the sides before it is lowered enough. Also, don't these things usually have a frame with tracks at the bottom as well?

                      Hydraulic ram pushes out and raises lift - ram pulls back in and lowers lift. The one in the original thread just relies on wheels on the ground on the lower end of the frame so it can increase and decrease the distance between the other frame on the ground that doesn't have wheels ( the frame where the lower end of the ram is fixed ) If that makes sense.

                        This one looks alright. Still lots of money but I like the fact that it's portable and 12v.
